As the Saudi Investment Bank has grown, very successfully, over time and to ensure we continue to do so in the future, it is becoming increasingly important to make sure that the skills of our newly hired young colleagues are always up-to-date. That's why SAIB invests heavily in young hire development through our SAIB Young Hire Program (YHP) Scheme.
High-quality training is essential for getting any career off to a good start and we believe this is especially important in the Banking and Finance industry. At SAIB, we regard the occupational training of young people as both an integral part of growing our business and our Corporate Social Responsibility - which is why every year we train more young people than we actually need.
In order to prepare our Young Hire Program (YHP) staff for the ever more complex challenges they will face in banking, we have created a six week program which will promote their development through a carefully managed series of systematic face-to-face learning sessions at the Institute of Banking, a series of simulated on-the-job training exercises in our SAIB "Model Branch" environment and a further series of personal development training courses/exercises.
